Equine Facility Design has been involved in the site search and assessment of financial planning to investigate the feasibility of possibly moving an existing riding club from the current site in town to a new site in the surrounding county land. The new facility will serve the existing needs of the members as well as expand their potential to hold additional income producing shows. The new equestrian show facility design will have a large covered arena with viewing area, clubroom, concession, kitchen, locker rooms, rest rooms, and covered mounted waiting area. The main arena riding area will be 120' x 240'. A secondary arena will have a 72' x 144' indoor arena with adjacent support spaces of tack rooms, groom and wash stalls. The site will have a grass grand prix field, an outdoor dressage arena, and an outdoor 100' x 200' multi-use arena. There will be perimeter fencing and trails with cross country jumps around the property. The 72 full time boarded horses are separated into three different barns, each with its own office for a trainer and its own feed room. There is a central storage area for hay, bedding, equipment and an adjacent compost facility to handle all waste produced. There will be 180 10' x 10' show stalls and parking for trucks, trailers, and autos. It is anticipated that there could be up to 16 shows per year using the facility with ongoing daily training activities for members and boarders. Equine Facility Design has been involved in the design of the potential project and in the budget and income planning for the project as well as public presentations.
